The buying club for SMEs and IIA will be collaborating for the purchase of raw materials as a project covering 34 chapters of IIA in Uttar Pradesh

Naw Delhi, February 14, 2013 — Power2sme, the buying club for SMEs, and Indian Industries Association (IIA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), for fostering co-operation and support for the promotion of SMEs in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This association will be instrumental in helping SMEs overcome challenges and creating an environment favorable to accelerated growth for the SMEs.

As a part of the MoU, IIA and Power2sme have mutually agreed for collective purchase of raw materials for the members of IIA. This project will run for a period of six months and will be covering 34 chapters of IIA in Uttar Pradesh, starting from the Western region (focusing on Noida / Greater Noida / Ghaziabad). Power2sme will be registering all members of IIA in this region on their online platform in the next six months.

पिछले  10   वर्षों की तरह इस वर्ष भी भारतीय सांस्कृतिक परिषद  विदेश  मंत्रालय और   प्रवासी दुनिया के  तत्वावधान में   अक्षरम द्वारा  अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी उत्सव आयोजित किया जा रहा है,   जो कि प्रतिवर्ष  किया जाने वाला हिंदी  का सबसे बड़ा गैर – सरकारी वैश्विक आयोजन है।     इसमें 15 से अधिक देशों के हिंदी के प्रसिद्ध विद्वान ,  साहित्यकार,  राजदूत,  राजनयिक,  सरकारी अधिकारी, बुद्धिजीवी,  प्रवासी साहित्यकार, पत्रकार, रंगकर्मी आदि  भाग लेते हैं। इस बार के  सम्मेलन में चार प्रमुख सत्र रहेंगे – 1.उद्घाटन व हिंदी के समक्ष चुनौतियां,   2.हिंदी और प्रौद्योगिकी नए आयाम,      3.भाषा साहित्य, शिक्षण और संस्कृति – वैश्विक परिप्रेक्ष्य     4 .प्रसिद्ध रचनाकारों द्वारा रचना पाठ  एवं विशेष प्रस्तुतियां ।

राष्ट्र ध्वज अध्निियम की तरह राष्ट्र नदी अधिनियम पारित करे संसद
गंगा महासभा और अखिल भारतीय संत समिति के संयुक्त तत्वावधन में
आयोजित ‘‘सवधर्म संसद’’ में उपस्थित संतो और धर्माचार्यो ने कहा कि गंगा जी एक
सामान्य नदी या भौगोलिक इकाई भर नही हैं, वे तो भारतीय संस्कृति की जीवन-प्राण,
भारत की शान का प्रतीक और भारत राष्ट्र की सर्वश्रेष्ठ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पहचान हैं। सभी
भारतीयों, भारतीय मूल के अप्रवासियों और भारतीय संस्कृति से जुड़े विदेशियों के मन में
भी गंगा जी के प्रति विशेष लगाव और श्र(ा है। यह बात सर्वमान्य है, इसको भारत के
प्रधनमंत्राी ने भी अपने कार्यालय के 4 नवंबर 2008 के प्रेस वक्तव्य में स्वीकार किया और
इसी आधर पर गंगा जी को राष्ट्र नदी के रूप में घोषित किया गया।
राष्ट्रीय नदी घोषित कर भारत सरकार ने इन्वायरमेंट प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट 1986 के
अंतर्गत अध्सिूचना संख्या 328 के द्वारा 20 पफरवरी 2009 को गंगा जी के प्रबन्ध्न के
निश्चित आयामों हेतु राष्ट्रीय गंगा नदी बेसीन प्राधिकरण की स्थापना की लेकिन बढ़ती
जनसंख्या, आर्थिक, औद्योगिक, नगरीय तथा भौतिक विकास की लालसा के दबाव के
कारण राष्ट्रीय गंगा नदी बेसीन प्राध्किरण गंगा जी को एक राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक, अद्वितीय
अस्तित्व तथा सांस्कृतिक ध्रोहर के तौर पर सम्मान सुनिश्चित करने हेतु पर्याप्त सि( नहीं
हुआ।
इन दबावों से सक्षम तरीके से तभी निपटा जा सकता है जब भारतीय संसद द्वारा
एक स्पष्ट और सुनिश्चित कानून पारित हो। इसका स्वरूप और इसके अंतर्गत दंडात्मक
प्रावधन राष्ट्रीय ध्वज अध्निियम कि तरह हो।
इस संदर्भ में गंगा महासभा ने न्यायमूर्ति गिरिध्र मालवीय जी की अध्यक्षता में
देश के शीर्षस्थ न्यायविदों, वैज्ञानिकों, विशेषज्ञों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं की सहायता
से प्रस्तावित कानून का प्रारूप तैयार किया है। जिसे राष्ट्र नदी गंगा जी ;संरक्षण एवं
प्रबंधन द्ध अध्निियम 2012 नाम दिया गया है। हमारा मानना है कि यह प्रस्तावित
अधिनियम गंगाजी को भारत की राष्ट्र नदी और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के रूप में
औपचारिक स्वरूप प्रदान करने राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक के प्रति अपेक्षित सम्मान, आदर और
संरक्षण सुनिश्चित करने और सरकार के प्रत्येक स्तर ;केन्द्रीय, राज्य और स्थानीयद्ध पर
नीतियों, योजनाओं, निर्णयांे और क्रियान्वयन में गंगा जी के संरक्षण और हित की
प्राथमिकता सुनिश्चित करने में सक्षम सि( होगा।
प्रारूप समिति के अध्यक्ष ने बताया इस अध्निियम में गंगा जी का भौतिक
स्वरूप परिभाषित किया गया है। गंगा जी में कौन-कौन सी गतिविध्यिाँ प्रतिबंध्ति होंगी
और कौन-कौन सी गतिविध्यिाँ सीमित होंगी यह तय किया गया है। गंगा जी में
प्रतिबंधित गतिविध्यिाँ अपराध् मानी जाएंगी और उसके लिए दंड का प्रावधन होगा।
गंगा जी से संबंधित नीति निर्धरण के लिए केन्द्र स्तर पर ‘राष्ट्रीय नदी गंगा
प्राध्किरण’ और राज्य स्तर पर ‘राज्य गंगा बोर्ड’ होंगे।
क्रियान्वयन के लिए केन्द्र स्तर पर ‘केन्द्रीय निगरानी एवं क्रियान्वयन समिति’,
गंगा जी की आठ जोनों के लिए ‘जोनल निगरानी एवं क्रियान्वयन समितियाँ’ और इनके
अंतर्गत ‘सेक्शनल निगरानी एवं क्रियान्वयन समितियाँ’ हांेगी। इन समितियों में मंत्रियों,
अध्किारियों के साथ-साथ वैज्ञानिकों, इंजीनियरांे, समाजसेवकों और गंगा-भक्तों का
समावेश होगा।
हालांकि यह प्रारुप 27, 28 और 29 दिसंबर 2011 के दौरान इलाहाबाद में तैयार
कर लिया गया था लेकिन विशेषज्ञों से चर्चा के पश्चात इसे पहली बार 5 नवंबर 2012
को देश के लिए सार्वजनिक किया गया। सर्वध्र्म संसद में आज इस प्रारुप पर चर्चा के
बाद इसे भारत सरकार को सौंपा जायेगा ताकि यथाशीघ्र भारत की संसद इसे पारित कर
दे ताकि गंगाजी संरक्षण सुनिश्चित हो सके और युगों-युगों तक समुचित प्रबंध्न हो सके।

राष्ट्रीय एकता एवं साम्प्रदायिक सदभाव को समर्पित राष्ट्रीय फूल वालों की सैर में इस वर्ष उत्तर प्रदेश के सांस्कृतिक दल को प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ है। महरौली, नर्इ दिल्ली सिथत जहाज महल में आयोजित एक भव्य समारोह में यह पुरस्कार केन्द्रीय आवास एवं नगरीय विकास मंत्री कुमारी शैलजा से सूचना निदेशालय, उत्तर प्रदेश के उप निदेशक (राष्ट्रीय समारोह) श्री प्रदीप कुमार गुप्ता ने प्राप्त किया।
इस वर्ष इस कार्यक्रम हेतु उत्तर प्रदेश की ओर से मथुरा के यश भारती से सम्मानित कलाकार श्री मुरारी लाल शर्मा के सांस्कृतिक दल चरकुला आर्ट अकादमी को भेजा गया था। दल के कलाकारों ने चरकुला नृत्य, फूलों की होली और बृज की मशहूर लटठमार होली का प्रदर्शन करके दर्शकों की खूब वाहवाही लूटी। समारोह में उपसिथत के विेदेश मंत्री श्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने भी बृज के इन कलाकारों के साथ नृत्य में समिमलित होकर उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुगल बादशाहों के समय से ही महरौली, दिल्ली में फूल वालों की सैर का आयोजन होता आ रहा है। अंजुमन-ए-गुल फरोशां नामक संस्था के तत्वावधान में होने वाला यह कार्यक्रम पूरे एक सप्ताह तक चलता है। कार्यक्रम के अनितम दिन भव्य सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम होता है, जिसमें विभिन्न प्रान्तों के लोक नर्तक अपनी कला का प्रदर्शन करते हैं। हर प्रान्त की ओर से दो कलात्मक पंखे भी भेजे जाते हैं, जिनमें से एक पंखा योगमाया मंदिर में और दूसरा ख्वाजा बखितयार काकी की मजार पर चढ़ाया जाता है।

RSA to organise massive Dharna

Village Panchayats be allocated seven percent of the total central budgetary allocation to stem  corruption and create a vibrant system, said Mr K N Govindacharya, founder & patron of Rashtriya Swabhimaan Andolan (RSA).
The central budget is of about Rs 14 lakh crore. If seven percent of it is allocated, it would provide Rs 40 lakh a year to each of the 2.5 lakh panchayats for development of the rural areas and building of infrastructure.
This would transform the village economy, he said, and the country would go on a fast-track development process. The 1991 economic liberalisation has not benefitted the rural areas or its economy. It has rather led to further negligence of the largest segment of the population. Villages harbour 70 per cent of the population and unless they are given effective powers to function the rays of skewed development process would never reach them. The government should make a beginning.
Even after enactment of The Panchayati Raj Act in 1993 through the 73rd constitutional amendment, panchayats have become paper tiger as they do not have financial powers. They have to depend on state and district administration for any kind of pecuniary functions. It only empowers the bureaucracy and the elected panchayat becomes subservient to the interest of the bureaucracy.
It is necessary for a vibrant democracy that the lowest democratic unit is able to function effectively. Various central ministries have for the last two decades only been mulling about channelling funds. Bureaucracy have been obstructing the move as it curtails their powers. Govindacharya said the Andolan is agitating to rectify the situation.
The concept of empowering village panchayats and gram sabhas is enshrined in the basic concept of the nation since ages. Mahatma Gandhi’s Gram Swaraj was supposed to be the bedrock for independent India. It did not happen. Socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia had the concept of ‘chaukhamba” – four pillars. The first pillar was the village economy and its panchayat.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay had stressed on achieving the goal of ‘antyodaya’ – liberation of the last person – through an effective panchayat system. Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan had also wanted to make panchayats the foundation of the governance structure, Mr Govindacharya said.
The centre even now provides funds for the panchayats, but, he said, it is channelized through state governments mostly in the shape of tied funds. Often the states spend this fund on other purposes and it never reaches the panchayats. The Rashtriya Swabhiman Andolan wishes to correct this system. It wants that the funds are provided directly to the panchayats so that the money is not siphoned off midway.
Mr Govindacharya said it would not be an additional burden. It would be only correction of a procedure. It would reduce the role of officialdom and make the panchayats effective tool in the development process.
It would have three benefits. First, the way there is islands of opulence that would be spread evenly. Villagers would prosper and so would the national economy. Second owing to lack of funds many projects of the panchayats could not be implemented. The officials have only single programme as to question, doubt integrity and ultimately obstruct all honest proposals. The last, as the money would reach the villages, it would bring the rural economy out of despondency, Mr Govindacharya said.
Mr Govindacharya said that the movement to begin on October 1 would continue till the goal is achieved.
It may be mentioned that the budgetary process lacks participation of the people, Mr Govindacharya said. The way the nation’s budget is prepared in Delhi is a cause for concern. Even political leadership is not consulted for taking important decisions. The arbitrary allocation in the budget to suit the whims and fancies of some top officials has led to severe discrepancies. If agriculture, which employs about 70 crore people, had been given the least importance the kind of inflation and high cost unaffordable economy that is rocking the nation would not have been there.

Mr Govindacharya said that the RSA agitation is aimed at changing the basic budgetary process. A high-cost economy suits the profiteers. It is necessary to change the dynamics to a low-cost process so that the poorest man not only could survive but also could participate in decision-making.

पर्व प्रतिवर्ष रक्षाबन्ध्न व श्रावणी के दिन मनाया जाता है। इस कार्यक्रम में आध्यक्षवहन पद्मभूषणप्राप्त,
ज्ञानपीठपुरस्कारप्राप्त, संस्कृत जगत् के भीष्म-पितामह एवं मूर्धन्य विद्वान डा. श्री सत्यव्रत शास्त्राी जी ने किया। इस
कार्यक्रम के मुख्यातिथि भारत सरकार के पूर्वोत्तरराज्यविकासमन्त्राी श्रीपवन सिंह घंटवार एवं विशिष्टातिथि दिल्ली
सरकार के श्रम-उद्योग एवं निर्वाचन मन्त्राी डाॅ. रमाकान्त गोस्वामी जी थे। इस कार्यक्रम के संयोजक
राष्ट्रीय-संस्कृत-संस्थान एवं श्रीलालबहादुर शास्त्राी राष्ट्रीय संस्कृत विद्यापीठ के कुलपति प्रो. राधवल्लभ त्रिपाठी
जी थे। अपने आध्यक्षीय भाषण में डाॅ. श्री सत्यव्रत शास्त्राी जी ने कहा कि लोगों को इस बात का भी पता नहीं
कि संस्कृत-दिवस नाम से भारतवर्ष में कोई पर्व मनाया जाता है। विशिष्टातिथि श्री रमाकान्त गोस्वामी जी ने
सम्बोध्ति करते हुए अपने विचार प्रकट किए कि आप लोग संस्कृत की रक्षा करो संस्कृत आपकी रक्षा करेगा। इस
कार्यक्रम के आधरस्तम्भ कुलपति प्रो. त्रिपाठी जी ने राष्ट्रीय संस्कृत संस्थान द्वारा किये गये उपलब्ध्यिों को अंकित
किया एवं यह घोषणा किया कि प्रतिवर्ष संस्कृत-दिवस के दिन तीन विशिष्टजनों को विशिष्ट संस्कृत सेवा सम्मान
के रूप में एक-एक लाख रूपये से पुरस्कृत किये जाऐंगे जिन्होंने पारम्परिक रूप से संस्कृत का अध्ययन नहीं किया
परन्तु संस्कृत के लिए तन-मन-ध्न समपित हेंै एवं निःस्वार्थ रूप से संस्कृत के माध्यम से जीवन-यापन कर रहे
हैं। इस वर्ष प्रो. गोपाल मित्रा जी, संस्कृतसंवाद नामक संस्कृत समाचार पत्रा के सम्पादक एवं प्रकाशक श्रीवेदप्रकाश
शर्मा जी एवं श्रीमती म×जू शर्मा जी;संयुक्तरूप सेद्ध, श्री प्रशान्त कुमार मिश्र जी को इस पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया
और प्रशस्तिपत्रा एवं एक-एक लाख रूपये भेंट किये। कार्यक्रम का समापन करते हुए संस्थान के कुलसचिव श्री
के.सुब्बाराव जी ने गणमान्यजनों को एवं संस्कृतप्रेमियों को ध्न्यवाद ज्ञापन किया। इस कार्यक्रम में 400 से अधिक
संस्कृतप्रेमी एवं संस्कृतानुरागी सम्मिलित हुए।

विधानसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों की मतदाता सूची में पंजीकरण हेतु मतदाताओं को प्रोत्साहित करने तथा विधानसभा चुनावों में मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने में प्रसिद्ध लोक गायिका तथा प्रदेश में मतदाता जागरूकता की सन्देश वाहक श्रीमती मालिनी अवस्थी तथा कई अन्य एजेंसियों का सक्रिय सहयोग  निर्वाचन विभाग को प्राप्त हुआ। हाल ही में सम्पन्न हुये 05 राज्यों के चुनावों में मतदाता जागरूकता के कार्य में उल्ल्ेखनीय सहयोग करने वाले व्यक्तियों और संस्थाओं को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा सम्मानित करने का निर्णय लिया गया।
आज 10 अप्रैल को नई दिल्ली के पास हरियाणा के सूरजकुण्ड में एक सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा किया गया। इस समारोह में मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त श्री एस0वाई0 कुरेशी, निर्वाचन आयुक्त श्री वी0एस0 सम्पत तथा श्री एच0एस0 ब्रहमा उपस्थित थे।
आयोजित समारोह में उत्तर प्रदेश में मतदाता जागरूकता के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिये श्रीमती मालिनी अवस्थी, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना ;छैैद्ध के प्रदेश प्रमुख  तथा तत्कालीन सचिव, उच्च शिक्षा विभाग श्री अवनीश अवस्थी के साथ डा0 एस0बी0 सिंह, राज्य सम्पर्क अधिकारी, डा0 अंशुमाली शर्मा, कार्यक्रम अधिकारी, श्रीमती सुषमा मिश्रा, कार्यक्रम समन्वयक तथा श्री अंशुकेडिया, कार्यक्रम समन्वयक को सम्मानित किया गया। अन्य शासकीय एजेंसियों में महत्वपूर्ण सहयोग के लिये श्री के0 रामचन्द्रन, मुख्य महाप्रबन्धक, भारतीय स्टेट बैंक, लखनऊ मण्डल, श्री वी0के0 जोयल, महाप्रबन्धक, पंजाब नेशनल बैंक, इलाहाबाद बैंक की ओर से श्री डी0एस0 भटनागर, मुख्य प्रबन्धक, आकाशवाणी के सहायक निदेशक श्री पृथ्वीराज चैहान तथा क्षेत्रीय प्रचार निदेशालय में संयुक्त निदेशक डा0 किस्मत अनिल सागर को आयोग की ओर से प्रशस्ति पत्र तथा स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया गया।
इस सम्मान समारोह में प्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री उमेश सिन्हा तथा मतदाता जागरूकता के प्रभारी श्री वेद प्रकाश भी उपस्थित थे।

Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology, a premier educational institute in the field of Engineering and Management in the NCR, organized a One Day National Seminar on “Nanoscience, Technology and Their Societal Impact” in the institute campus on April 7, 2012.

The objective of this seminar is to bring domain experts from R&D organization, academics and industry on a common platform to share from their repertoire of domain knowledge and rich and varied research experiences in this emerging technology area with a great promise of immense potential for industrial growth and huge societal impact and deliberate and identify the niche areas for pursuing research to take lead in these areas for harnessing their full potential.

Mr. Arpit Agarwal, Executive Director, of the institute, welcomed the august gathering of the distinguished and learned people from academics, research organizations and industry, which graced the occasion and participated in the seminar.

Prof. Mushahid Husain, Director, Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Jamia Milia Islamia university was the honourable Chief Guest on the occasion. In his presidential address, he dwelt upon the emerging scenario of nano-science and technology, the world over and including in the country. He spelt out formidable challenges and threats that the scientists and technologists from the diverse disciplines engaged in this exciting and immensely beneficial field for the mankind, has to cope up with. He hoped this seminar will succeed in its lofty objective of dissemination of the latest knowledge shared on the subject in the seminar and it will be leveraged for the up-gradation of current technologies as well as new technology development initiatives in future in the field of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.

Prof. Deshdeep Sahdev, IIT Kanpur, a renowned scientist, graced the occasion as the Keynote speaker. In his address, he gave an excellent overview of the nano-world and things to come as an outcome of fruition of this revolutionary technology, dealing with the precise manipulation of atoms and molecules resulting in devices with amazingly superior properties.

Among the other eminent speakers, who graced the occasion and shared from their wealth of domain knowledge, rich and varied successful R&D experiences and insightful views included Prof. Arun Chattopadhyay, IIT Gauhati, Dr. V.K.Jain, Amity university, Prof. Harsh, Jamia Milia Islamia University, Dr. Lalit M. Bharadwaj, CSIO, Chandigarh, Dr. Anil Kumar, CEERI, Pilani, and Dr. Neeraj Dilbagi, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology.

Prof. Risal Singh, Ex. Senior Scientist, SSPL, New Delhi, in his valedictory address, summed up the proceedings of the day nicely, highlighting the salient issues emerged during the deliberations.
Dr. Prof. R.A. Agarwala, Director General, Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology moved the Vote of Thanks on the occasion and thanked the participants for their valued participation in this knowledge sharing event.
